Health Ministry
Health and Care Ministry: OSL Health Ministry seeks to promote the well-being of our faith community by encouraging “individuals and groups to move toward the stewardship of health through education, health promotion, screenings, caring, healing and outreach.”
Prayer Shawl Ministry: Knitters and crocheters pray for the recipient as the needles create a beautiful shawl that brings both warmth and spiritual comfort. Prayer shawls are given to members and non-members in time of need as a reminder of God’s constant love and presence.
Healing Services: Periodically an opportunity for anointing with oil & healing prayer is offered at worship services.
Visitation Ministry Team: Team members visit monthly with homebound members in their homes or community setting and share holy communion. To learn more contact Gayle Holte, Visitation Team coordinator.
Community Worship: Monthly services are held at Neighbors of Dunn County. Assistance from lay members welcome!
Global Health Ministries: Members travel to GHM, located in Fridley, MN several times per year, to volunteer in the warehouse sorting and packing medical items for shipment overseas.
